Cabrillo Playhouse is looking for passionate community members who want to play a meaningful role in the future of one of Orange County’s longest-running community theaters.
As the playhouse continues to grow and serve audiences throughout the region, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. Whether your background is in business, nonprofit leadership, law, marketing, fundraising, event planning, or simply a love of live theatre, we encourage you to consider becoming part of our leadership team.
We are especially interested in individuals with experience in:
- Legal services
- Fundraising strategy
- Grant writing and grant seeking
- Community engagement and public relations
- Event planning
More than any specific professional background, we are looking for people who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, and energy to help ensure Cabrillo Playhouse continues to thrive for generations to come.
Unlike many nonprofit boards, Cabrillo Playhouse has a working Board of Directors. Board members take an active role in the operation of the theater by overseeing key areas of responsibility, supporting productions when needed, attending theater events, and serving as ambassadors for Cabrillo Playhouse throughout the community.
The Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the theater.
Serving on the Board is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact while working alongside a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to keeping live community theatre vibrant in Orange County.
